The company was founded in 1993 by Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Mohamedrasool Alzaabi as Al Athar Engineering. In 2023, the company was renamed Al Athar General Contracting (AGC) and expanded as a family extension of ‘Speed Fire and Safety Equipment LLC’ due to increased construction demand in the UAE market. The company has grown incrementally, remains resilient despite difficult market conditions, and employs a forward-thinking spirit based on passionate QHSE leadership, financial discipline, and efficient use of resources.

Our responsibilities include a range of proficiency- offshore and onshore services, major civil/electrical /mechanical engineering works such as Earth works, road works, Industrial and commercial buildings, Infrastructure works, water and sewerage works, electrical and mechanical works.
